Darren Moss
Darren Moss is a native Cape Bretoner who is a self-taught artist of multiple mediums, a woodworker, as well as an avid outdoorsman.
Darren was the owner and operator of Final Touch Framing from 1990 to 2016, doing custom picture framing. In 2004, as a hobby, he began photographing sports. Eventually, he was drawn to nature where his true passion lies, shooting wildlife and landscapes.
In 2017, Darren closed his framing business to pursue photography full time. Many of his hours are spent in the field developing his knowledge of his wildlife subjects and waiting for that magical moment. He also spends much time driving and hiking the island in search of his next great location for a sunrise, sunset, waterfalls or nightscape image, and waiting for the perfect light.
He edits, prints and frames each image in his studio. All images are printed with quality archival inks on ultra premium lustre photographic paper. In Darren’s ready-made line, the images are double mounted for durability and protected with an ultra matt UV photographic laminate, therefore eliminating the need for glass. His custom framed line is completed with quality wood mouldings, conservation glass and archival matting, and mounting.
