Larch Wood Canada is nestled along the Margaree River and we feel privileged to live, work, and raise our families on Cape Breton Island, Canada. Voted one of North America’s top island destinations, Cape Breton Island continues to inspire visitors with its gorgeous coastline, wonderful natural areas and diverse culture. We specialize in creating beautiful ‘end-grain’ cutting boards handmade from eastern Canadian larch (Larix laricina). Also known locally as tamarack and juniper, we source this renewable resource from sustainably managed local woodlots. The beauty and durability of the end grain Larch makes these boards a versatile choice for both cutting and presentation.
